1. What is covered — Workmanship warranty
Bath Pro Tampa warrants the workmanship of the installation for the lifetime of the original purchaser from the date of completion. During the warranty period, Bath Pro Tampa will repair, at no charge, any defects directly attributable to faulty workmanship performed by Bath Pro Tampa or its authorized subcontractors.
Covered workmanship defects include, but are not limited to:
- Improper installation of shower pans, bases, or surrounds resulting in leaks
- Failure of caulk or sealant applied by Bath Pro Tampa at time of installation
- Structural defects in the installation caused by installer error
- Improperly secured fixtures, grab bars, or accessories installed by Bath Pro Tampa
- Water intrusion through installation seams or connections attributable to installer error
2. Manufacturer's warranty — Materials & products
All merchandise, materials, and products — including Bellastone Systems acrylic wall panels, shower pans, fixtures, and accessories — are covered exclusively by the respective manufacturer's warranty, if any. Bath Pro Tampa makes no additional warranty, express or implied, with respect to the materials themselves.
Bellastone Systems acrylic wall panels carry a manufacturer's lifetime warranty against cracking, peeling, and fading under normal residential use. Customers should retain their product documentation for manufacturer warranty claims.
3. What is not covered
This warranty does not cover damage caused by, but not limited to, the following:
- Normal wear and tear
- Abuse, misuse, or neglect by the homeowner or third parties
- Improper care or use of incorrect cleaning products (abrasive cleaners, bleach-based sprays, steel wool)
- Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs performed by anyone other than Bath Pro Tampa
- Pre-existing structural issues, hidden plumbing damage, sub-floor damage, or termite damage
- Damage resulting from flooding, fire, acts of God, or other events beyond Bath Pro Tampa's control
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect the function of the installation (minor scratches, scuffs)
- Items listed as the Customer's responsibility in the Installation Disclaimer section of the Agreement
4. Warranty conditions
This warranty is subject to the following conditions:
- Full payment required: This warranty is contingent upon the Customer having paid all amounts due and owing to Bath Pro Tampa pursuant to the Installation Agreement.
- Original purchaser only: This warranty is non-transferable and applies solely to the original purchaser of the installation.
- Proper care & maintenance: The Customer must maintain the installation according to the care and cleaning instructions provided at the time of installation. Use only non-abrasive, pH-neutral cleaners on acrylic surfaces.
- Timely notice: The Customer must notify Bath Pro Tampa of any defect within a reasonable time after discovery. Delay in reporting a defect that results in additional damage may void coverage for the additional damage.
5. How to make a warranty claim
To request warranty service, contact Bath Pro Tampa using any of the methods below. Please have your original Installation Agreement and project completion date available when you call.
Bath Pro Tampa will schedule an inspection of the reported defect within a reasonable time. If the defect is determined to be covered under this warranty, Bath Pro Tampa will perform the necessary repairs at no charge to the Customer.
6. Disclaimer of implied warranties
Bath Pro Tampa disclaims all implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The remedies set forth in this warranty are the Customer's sole and exclusive remedies. Bath Pro Tampa shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect, special, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of use, loss of income, or damage to personal property.
7. Florida Homeowners' Construction Recovery Fund
Payment, up to a limited amount, may be available from the Florida Homeowners' Construction Recovery Fund if you lose money on a project performed under contract, where the loss results from specified violations of Florida law by a licensed contractor.
